The technicians at Hanover Lube and Brake (HLB) certainly do a lot of oil changes and replace many brakes but don’t let the name fool you. HLB is a full service, one stop shop. They also replace engines, transmissions and offer front end alignments. Additionally HLB will perform extended warranty work and offers a full fleet of Budget Rental trucks.
Customer service is another reason to visit Hanover Lube and Brake. Dean Wright, owner, says, “It’s simple, we give the best customer service in town. We provide loaner cars, offer courtesy pick-up and delivery and perhaps the most important, we deliver smiles. Our customers have a choice as to where to take their cars. We are happy they choose us. “
Mr. Wright started Hanover Lube and Brake over 20 years ago by renting two bays behind the old Hanover Auto Parts Store. Soon they rented a third bay and just four years later opened their existing location on Baltimore Street. This 7- bay auto repair facility now employs five technicians and two service writers.
In 2009 another business was added…Dean’ Auto Plaza. Located on 6851 York Road, Hanover, they offer guaranteed credit acceptance. You can find late model cars and trucks from 1997- 2009 cars. Please call or stop in.

Dean Wright, Owner
Dean has been involved in the auto repair business for 55 years. This former Eagle Scout started in began his repair career in high school when he worked for a gas station. He would open the station in the morning, go to school all day, participate in sports and then close the station at night. Dean still keeps up to date with his mechanical training although he says he usually he started in business before the instructor was born.
Hanover Lube and Brake opened over 20 years ago and recently Dean expanded his business to include Dean’s Auto Plaza. His newest business features late model trucks and cars for sale. Dean has always prided himself by offering great customer service.
Dean is married to his wife Cackie, has 2 boys, and 3 granddaughters. His passion, other than working is dogs. Dean is a Lure Coursing judge for site hounds and travels the US to attend these shows.
Tammy Paff, Service Manager
Tammy has been the Service Manager for Hanover Lube and Brake for 10 years. She has participated in training through GM, Mazda, ATI (Automotive Training Industry) and Kelly Bennett, all top names in the industry. Tammy has always managed HLB with the philosophy that HLB should always meet or exceed customer’s expectations.
Tammy is also ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certified as a Service Advisor.
Tammy has 2 boys, Bradley and Jeremy. She enjoys reading, fishing, growing flowers and her dogs Prince and Bitty.
Tony Stronde, Service Advisor
Tony has served as a service advisor for a number of dealerships including Chevrolet and Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep. He joins Hanover Lube and Brake with 12 years of experience and has participated in training during those 12 years helping him to earn his ASE certification. One of his favorite experiences was earning a trip to the Panoz Racing experience where he finished 8th out of 40 in the racing finals.
Hiking, zip lining, cooking and working out in the gym are some of Tony’s favorite pastimes.
Connie Stigler, Service Writer
Connie wears many hats at HLB, but her biggest hat is worn as an agent for the fleet of the Budget Rental trucks. Her additional responsibilities include service writing for the repair business.
She has worked for HLB since 2002 and has attended ATI (Automotive Training Industry) classes for service advisor.
Connie is married to her husband Jerry and has 4 children, Casey, Leon, Christie and David. Connie family is her world with Thursday dinner nights, lots of camping and fun.
Dan Musselman, Technician
Dan has been a technician for 19 years spending the last 3 at Hanover Lube and Brake. He attended Vo Tech for 3 years as an Auto Mechanics student. He is an ASE Master Technician and has attended many of the NAPA AutoTech Classes. He also is certified in emissions and has his waiver license.
Dan is married to his wife Dawn and has 3 children. His hobbies include playing drums and the guitar
Jose Cabasquini, Technician
Jose’s experience includes 10 years as a technician and has been with HLB for 5 years. His experience includes Auto Technician classes in high school as well as NAPA AutoTech classes.
Jose enjoys working on cars, and loves spending time with his wife, taking her to dinner and the movies. He has 5 children.
Gordy Horrell, Technician
Gordy has been a technician for 24 years and spent the last 2 years at Hanover Lube and Brake. His experience includes Toyota and Nissan dealership training and NAPA AutoTech classes.
Fishing and music are his passion especially playing the guitar and banjo. He is married to his wife Shannon and has 2 children.
Brian Moser, Technician
Brian has worked at HLB for over 5 years. He attended Auto Tech School and participated in many of the NAPA AutoTech Training courses.
His passion is his 3 year old daughter and who loves going to the park and playing ball with her dad.
